Florida – Hurricanes Helene & Milton
After the state of Florida was hit by back-to-back hurricanes, SRP Partners joined the response and recovery efforts to help Floridians rebuild quickly and safely.
SRP Partners is proud to provide critical support for the housing mission in collaboration with local stakeholders and partners at the regional and national level.
Tennessee – Tropical Storm Helene
After Tropical Storm Helene dumped approximately two months of rain over a period of three days, the citizens of Tennessee watched their local waterways rise to historic levels and spill over their banks to cause unprecedented flooding.
In the aftermath, SRP Partners supplied critical support for the direct housing mission by coordinating haul and install (H&I) efforts to establish 34 temporary housing sites across eastern Tennessee.
North Carolina – Tropical Storm Helene
Before dissipating, Tropical Storm Helene stalled over North Carolina and dropped more than 30 inches of rain and caused historic flooding.
With some towns nearly destroyed, SRP Partners has worked closely with fellow disaster response specialists along with engineers and government representatives to define the extent of damage and develop a path forward for recovery.
