Job Description

As an integral member of our team, the Data Analyst will work closely with internal and external clients and provide support for a wide variety of data management and documentation needs. The Data Analyst will serve as a key contributor to hazard mitigation and emergency management projects as well as social science research initiatives. Data Analysts for SRP Partners will be expected to:  

  • Perform data gathering, analysis, maintenance, and manipulation

  • Enter data into electronic databases and spreadsheets   

  • Create and maintain spreadsheets using MS Excel

  • Transfer data between multiple systems and software applications 

  • Train personnel on spreadsheets and/or databases

  • Prepare reports and data visualizations via MS PowerPoint and Power BI

  • Develop, update, and manage dashboards to present data.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in data analysis, mining, reporting, and predictive modeling

  • Strong data management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Access, or database systems

  • Proficiency in Power BI

  • Experience creating data visualization tools such as web-based dashboards and working with the various data-related coding language or software

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range for this role is $25/hr. to $35/hr.

Compensation is dependent upon education history and professional background, prior experience, and skill level, according to existing contractual requirements.

Travel Requirement

Some positions may require travel to disaster-affected areas for an extended period, on a case-by-case basis. Successful candidates must be willing and able to work in deployed status, away from home. When required, travel costs (including per diem) will be reimbursed at prevailing GSA rates.
